Got Drox to the airport on time, saw him off and the sweetie called when he arrived at his destination - I must get him cloned ;-} He is off for a week of fun with his dad, fly rod and tackle box in hand. He "has" to help cook for High Adventure to earn his keep but he LOVES to cook (freezer full of Amish friendship bread to prove it!) so I know he will be fine. Now we just have to keep all his fish alive for the week!
Got Buh to work on time too - just barely.
I really liked the ob doctor I went to in Oct 2008 but don't like the hospital he operates at as much (their financial department did Not return my calls when I had questions) SO I decided to go back to the original hospital I went to in Sept 2008 (where all the medical problems were discovered) and try out their Women's Clinic. The doctor they assigned me to is Great, and the payment plan is reasonable and they took blood and the lady was awesome at it and depending what a new ultrasound shows I may Not need surgery! It seems that the tumor on the right has diminished in size and the one on the left (smaller to begin with) is about the same size it was...we shall see what the ultrasound shows before throwing any parties. Part of the blood work was to check out possible reasons for the extreme fatigue that has become a crippling problem in the last year. Buh is helping me with dietary issues and Le and Drox are supporting my exercise adventures so I am working on the most obvious suspect - the 50 pounds I gained in the last 19 months. Lifetime high to include 6 pregnancies.
My goal is to weigh less than my IQ ;-p Yes, I am a smug intellectual snob. However, 92 pounds less I will be healthier and at a reasonable weight for my age and build (and indubitably 'smugger') :-o
I read at the library, in a soft chair, and it was a great "getaway" - simple things.
