"SO, how did dinner work out? JE and I almost got coney dogs at Sonic, almost got chicken salad at Jack in the Box, DID get frozen fries at WalMart, and a whole chicken (raw) and HOT french bread and called it good ;-} Ate the fries and leftover chili so we have the chicken cooked for today and the next day!
I agree with your "better day" title... only we didn't see a movie... much to JE's dismay. Planted herbs and tomatoes, bought a new filter for the new fish tank, butter, yogurt and OJ on sale at Fred Meyer, the WalMart stuff and chatted with Missionaries for a couple hours, fed 'em ice cream, sent 'em home and went to bed... can we just paste this to my blog so it will look like I am back in the game?

We were supposed to work in Drox's room for a couple of hours... to reclaim my sewing area... but got up just before 0900, showered, breakfasted and went to get help raising my handle bars and lowering my seat... which we put right back up. Somehow I have to get over the feeling that I am going to plunge to my death the way the bars these days are so low and the seat relatively so high OR I will go and buy the old fashioned bikes they are making now with high handle bars like I grew up with and you back pedal for the brakes!
Of course that put us at our friend's house where we have garden space and Drox was there to haul compost for his old mom and the seeds were still in the car and, and, and. AND I will be finding my sewing space today on my own.
I will also be voting today at the local elementary school. I don't receive utility bills... the radio said I need a utility bill and picture ID... I think that is if I plan to register as I vote, but will print something to take with me just in case ;-} (I registered two years ago when we moved here) Of course I will also be taking cleats and running shoes to school "before 2:20" and trying to get this week's tentative schedule from my boss, as well as dishes, laundry, etc.
It is our turn to have WA weather ;-Þ I got sunburned yesterday mid day, we got home just ahead of the rain (about 4 or 5) and it has stayed grey and damp and "Tacoma-y" since! Drox had his window open all night, dreamed of ice and cold and slipping, and woke chilled this morning... poor boy! I opened things back up after he left for the bus... it is going to get up to 74 today, won't have to use the ac if I get things good and cold now... altho the thermostat sez it is 66 and it was 65 when he left so I think it is a vain and futile attempt on my part!
Kind of like blogging when I don't really have a subject in mind... except trying to cover up my blog by comment tendencies...
