Up at 0535 to take Drox to the bldg for the sunrise hike. Lost my mind and called the cell phone people about my phone's problems INSTEAD of going back to bed.

even tho the phone sez it doesn't need the second program, it does - download it!
doze off and on while that happens and the computer then tries to talk to my phone, it can't
I can't restore the backed up data either
Young lady whose name I didn't catch about two hours later (couldn't understand her most of the conversation... inner city NOT a foreigner, spoke too fast and slurred her words)
doesn't know why they had me do all that but it sounds like a computer problem to her, go to another computer and try again . . . I am four hours plus into this and NOT amused
go into Buh's room, wake him to ask permission to try on his computer
download both programs, much faster on his machine, go thru the process but need the back up info on my computer - find thumb drive. Thumb drive doesn't show up on my computer as a device to transfer the file to. Drox helps me check out my USB connection and altho it worked to back up my phone info the computer no longer acknowledges anything plugged into the USB port. I email the backup file to myself.
Finish the process, try my alarm and I have music again ! ! !
Take Buh to work, try to txt Drox - "You have no msg services configured. You will have to save to draft." Call the cell people as I drive
1425 young lady with a southern accent that is asking me to locate files, etc I have no clue about, my boss tries to ring in, I take his call.
1500 Kajonda has to put me on hold a couple of times but talks me thru deleting and registering and ultimately I can txt even if you are not one of the five faces on my phone's screen . . . but as for pictures, I should never have been able to do that. Right, I'll ask Buh later. He knows what "my" plan includes since it is his phone I inherited ! ! !
TJ, Lou and Toesie came by to see our new house and retrieve the waterbath canner.
Le reloaded the trays I unloaded this morning with more cherries so our 3rd batch is underway.
Wil just called and the lovely cell was absolutely silent... except for a feeble attempt at a vibrate type buzz. Wouldn't have heard it if I wasn't right here with it a foot from the keyboard . . . I am NOT calling those people again today. NOPE not me!
Tiney, Matey and thePirate will be here MONDAY. Matey is getting chubby AND teething it seems. All six of mine got teeth young(3mo) and apparently so did thePirate. I was 9 months old so don't be looking my direction!
