lists will take forever to complete!

but I got thru the items for today plus a few extra - after the oil change the nice boy said, Ma'am I can see wire here on the edge of your tire. Yep, he could. Driver's front tire had bits of wire showing on the inside edge along a 2 1/2 to 3 inch crack. Both front tires were Very Worn. And as the nice man at Les Schwab's pointed out were not the size the sticker on the door said they should be, just a bit narrower. So, we have new tires all around and an appointment for an alignment tomorrow at 2. "If you don't need an alignment they won't charge you for the appointment" The car was just aligned in May, this year, so if it DOES need one I will be contacting the other folks to say, shame on you! I am an old lady I don't drive off road or whatever crazy stuff would knock it out of alignment already! I won't mention I have boys that drive it. Going down the road it Was pulling to the right after I left the shop, just sayin'.
Now to bed because tomorrow is going to be even Longer ! ! !
ps Matey update: I missed a call from him because I was talking to the Idaho Power lady and when I called back he was NOT in the mood. I heard "no talk" and the spitting noise he makes when ejecting nasty food from his mouth. Later I got a call from him with mommy coaching him to say "thank you for the bacon Grammy" which he said very clearly and with enthusiasm. He loves bacon and they had found the bacon I had added to the ice chest. Apparently someone else put the contents into the freezer at their house so it was a happy discovery ;-}
Also, my new phone arrived - yay ! ! ! It was considerably smarter than I even tho I took the time to read the nice little book that came with it! I love it, thank you Ddonn, but did they Really have to name it "Jest"? Where is the dignity in THAT name people??? Yeesh!

I will make changes instead of excuses

Been working alot, not getting much done, but I am salaried this year so I don't have to be paranoid about the hours and I can be more thorough which gives me more peace ;p
It is wonderful to have a "Betsy" again... we always called my car 'old Betsy' until Pugsie came along and Drox insisted on the new name... now Buh drives Pugsie to work and I still have a way to go places and do things. There are going to be a few repairs in addition to the purchase price, Pugsie has better brakes!!!, but it will still be reasonable and the airconditioning is heaven in record setting heat... yesterday we hit 101, previous record for that date was 100.
Tiney's bed is divine! Buh and I have been hogging it, I will have to repent and give Drox a chance, but NOT tonight ;-}
We did home made pizza and it turned out divine. We cook it on the grill, thank you Papa Murphy's, so the house stays nice. Got a few things at Costco tonight and returned the "puffy" string cheese... yes, I still had the July 6th receipt ;-Þ Tomorrow I need to get feed for the chickens and a slinky for Buh... don't ask. He is making great progress on the drawing of a nearby high school we need for work, it was remodeled this summer so the 'etching' on the graduation announcements from years past, is missing a few additions. Buh has the coolest drawing programs!
I am walking at 1900, Buh and I agreed to start at 15 minutes, 7 min out, 8 min back. If I survive that much in this heat I'll be ready for more by the time it starts cooling off.
Boxes are living in the garage while they wait to be packed with surplus kitchen items
Clothing is moving to closet shelves [I never remember to close the bedroom doors (yes, double doors) and coming out to get things from the dresser is hazardous and the dresser won't fit in the walk-in closet due to all the built in sections and shelves SO ditch the dresser, use the shelves]
Carpet is going to be the only floor covering in my bedroom... those boxes and papers are waiting elsewhere to be sorted,
filing is being filed... pretty straightforward
then there are school bags to finish for Humanitarian Aid, yarn ends to weave in on Matey's finished sweater, little animals to crochet and 8 stockings to do (Christmas), and Wil's box to mail, family history indexing, chickens to watch while Le is gone... but for now I need to open windows and get to bed!
